Sandro Villinger is Mr. Windows Tweaks: As a teenager, he founded the Windows Help platform at the end of the 90s and made it Germany's most visited Windows site (during his A-levels) with helpful PC tricks.
Later, Sandro wrote for years as a Windows expert for magazines such as
PC-Praxis,
PCWorld in the USA and the German
Computer Bild (

For his Windows tuning expertise and support of Microsoft users, Sandro Villinger received the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (Windows - Shell/User), or Microsoft MVP, award from the Windows manufacturer in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Sandro wrote
some Windows books for Microsoft Press and was even hired by the software giant for some time at its headquarters in Seattle.
Sandro never stopped finding Windows bugs and suitable solutions, optimizing the Microsoft operating system for the "person in front of the screen" and making it more user-friendly with simple "hacks".
Today, he works as a strategy manager at a security software company.
One thing has remained the same over the years - from Windows 98 to Windows 12:
What Sandro finds out when tinkering with software, hardware, PCs, gaming and Microsoft, he shares with like-minded people on Windows-Tweaks.info.
