The software giant Microsoft has its own cloud gaming platform, which is now available in 22 countries. Cloud gaming can be used on mobile but normal PCs and makes games available to participants who have already registered for the "Xbox Pass". Basically, what is hidden behind Cloud Gaming a portal that used to be called xCloud. It also acts as an additional service to the Xbox One and the games consoles that belong to the Xbox series. Thanks to the streaming service, games are also often hosted in the cloud so that a wide range of different series and films are available.

Cloud gaming offers users a large selection of console games, but also classic sports games or games with a Playstation. Those who become members of a game collection from the cloud immediately receive a wide selection of different games. They are published directly by data centers and made available to the user as video streaming. But how does gaming from the cloud work and which digital devices are needed to play the games? The classics here are game consoles, but also digital devices such as smartphones for mobile gaming via the cloud. The use of controller codes also makes it possible for it to feel as if the games themselves are being uploaded. However, the use of cloud streaming is not fundamentally an innovative system, as many providers of consoles such as the PS4 console from the well-known games manufacturer Playstation or the company NVidia, which was launched in 2020. Microsoft's main competitor - Google Stadia - was launched back in 2019. Enthusiastic sports fans can also use the DAZN platform to access a cloud for live events or streamed sporting events.

The Xbox Pass at the best possible price

The Xbox developed by Microsoft - which is in its beta version - could be a real game changer. This is mainly due to the fact that virtual reality (VR for short) is being used more and more frequently. At the same time, the number of fans watching live sporting events such as soccer, boxing and Asian martial arts is increasing. However, a monthly fee is charged for playing digital sports games, but this is where users who are interested in the Xbox should take a closer look to avoid running into a financial debacle.

In principle, the Xbox Game Pass a monthly fee of currently 3.99 euros must be paid for the PC. These fees must then be paid to Microsoft, but will continue to increase. Later, the amount will rise to 9.99 euros and thus make a big leap upwards. If you are a fan of digital sports games and would like to keep playing them for longer, there is a "Game Pass", which not only gives users the "Game Pass" for the PC, but also the "Ultimate Membership", which brings further benefits and can also be used for the Xbox. A fee of 12.99 euros per month is payable here.

Since September 2020, all users who have registered as Ultimate members have received the mobile streaming service xCloud via GamePro. This is also available for mobile, digital devices. This form of gaming would also be ideal for playing on the go. Thanks to the upcoming collaboration between Microsoft and the Game manufacturer "Electronic Arts" (EA for short), which means that even more popular games will be added. Although there is as yet no definitive date for when the collaboration between the two companies will begin, the end of 2020 is considered a realistic start date.

Use cloud gaming with the Xbox

For real fans of high-quality digital games, cloud gaming with the Xbox is an absolute highlight. It provides players with many of the latest games. Admittedly, there is a wide range on offer, so it is not easy for the players concerned to find the right offer for them. But why should the choice fall on the Xbox from Microsoft fall?
