A cybersecurity engineer creates security systems for a company's computer network and data. The main task, of course, is primarily to protect data from unauthorized access and to secure it in the event of force majeure. Part of this may involve setting up firewalls or warning systems if someone tries to gain unauthorized access to a network or certain devices. To prevent this from happening, a security engineer must propose, install, test and maintain appropriate security systems for a company. This may involve developing their own programs.
