Quick overview:
One week after the publication of the seventh developer preview IE9 has been updated: An update for the last official beta (version number 9.0.9370) was released on November 23rd, which is unfortunately only being made available to some users today via Windows Update:
The update is intended to fix some bugs and increase the reliability of the browser - unfortunately, Microsoft does not reveal exactly which problems will be fixed. So be sure to check in the Windows Update program (see "All ProgramsWindows Update") whether the update for IE9 Beta is available. If not, there's the Download individual package right here.
Beta Leak
An Internet Explorer beta (with the version number 9.0.8023), which was previously only available internally, was also released to the public and can only be obtained from "unofficial" sources. Despite the relatively large version jump, the superficial changes are limited. Here are some exclusive screenshots of the pre-release version:
The unofficial version is only available in English
The Download Manager now displays the transfer speed
As always, be careful! Leaked - and therefore unofficial - pre-release versions can be contaminated with viruses. For this reason, we do not distribute any direct download links here and ask all curious readers for their understanding!

Yours, Sandro Villinger
