A free version update is now available for users of the Windows optimization program TuneUp Utilities 2008.
In particular, the update optimizes the "1-click maintenance", which automatically eliminates problems in the registry, saves storage space
and optimizes hard disk performance.
After the update, it catches up with the automatic weekly maintenance if the computer was not switched on at the time specified by the user. To save memory space, the monitoring of maintenance by the TuneUp Rescue Center can now also be deactivated.
Furthermore, additional temporary folders are taken into account when cleaning the data carriers, and the execution of the program parts "TuneUp Drive Defrag" and "Gain disk space" is faster. The "TuneUp Update Wizard" integrated into the main program ensures that customers are easily and regularly supplied with the latest version updates. According to the manufacturer, the latest update makes TuneUp Utilities 2008 more thorough, more reliable and faster overall.
