Quick overview:
When you download a file and the download is complete, the Explorer usually appears with the desired destination from which you open the data. However, it is quite possible that you have clicked or removed the option "Always confirm before opening this file type, as this will open the linked program after the download starts immediately. There is now no way back, because the dialog in which you could change this has disappeared. To resolve this problem, you must proceed as follows:
Self-determined opening of downloads
1. In the "Workspace, click on "View/Folder options/File types. Select your file type and click on "Edit.
2. Now tick the box next to "Confirm opening after download.
From now on, the file type in question will no longer be opened with the intended program, but the traditional download dialog will appear.
