Quick overview:
Apple doesn't make copying data to and from your iOS device, such as iPhone or iPad, particularly easy. iTunes is currently the only "official" way, but it's super slow and also extremely limited.
This is where EaseUS helps: With the brand new MobiMover 2.0 you finally get a top solution for managing your smartphone files. You can:
- files such as PDFs or JPGs from your PC into the appropriate app (iBooks, Photos, etc.) on your iPhone or iPad copy.
- Files such as notes, contacts, photos or movies from one iOS device to another iOS device copy. This is great if you have bought a new iPhone and only want to move certain data or if you want to keep several iOS devices synchronized, for example.
- Back up data from an iOS device to your PC.
However, it is very easy to use: the information is transferred in just a few mouse clicks (see below). The following file types are supported:
- Contacts: Your address book entries including telephone numbers and co.
- iMessage: All message histories between you and friends or group chats via iMessage. This also includes all entries.
- Notes: All entries saved in the note app, such as your shopping lists or to-do lists.
- Calendar: All calendar entries.
- Voicemail: All received voicemail recordings.
- Books: Both your saved PDFs and iBooks purchased from the iTunes Store.
- Safari: Bookmarks and history lists of your browser.
- Photos: All selfies, screenshots and photos saved in your "Photos" app.
- Movies: Recorded videos, purchased movies and TV shows on your iPhone or iPad.
- Audio: This includes not only the songs in your library, but also ringtones, audio books, playlists and voice memos.
As you can see, the scope is enormous. The transfer works as follows:
- Install EaseUS MobiMover completely free of charge from this page. And start the program. In the example, we select the transfer from an iPhone X to the PC. Make sure that the iPhone is connected and the message "Trust this device" is accepted.
- On the following screen, decide on the type of files you want to transfer. In the example, we decide to back up all iMessage messages, notes and ringtones.
- Now select a suitable folder using the "..." button and click on "Transfer".
