Quick overview:
The numeric keypad on the right-hand side of the keyboard can only be used as soon as you press the Num button. It is activated immediately. You can save yourself this small, but in some cases annoying detour. And this is how it works:
1. Like many settings, this is also hidden in the Windows registry. To open it, you must click on Start > Execute and in the field that appears regedit type in.
2. After they have been Ok a window appears. Double-click to navigate through the keys one after the other HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Control Panel\Keyboard.
Alternatively, if this value does not work, you can also use the key HKEY_USERS\DEFAULT\KEYBOARD\InitialkeyboardIndicator helped.
3. Some entries will open in the right-hand window. Double-click here on the value InitialKeyboardIndicators and enter in the field that appears a 2 (With the value 0 the setting is canceled again).
Once you have confirmed, all you have to do is restart the computer. From now on, the keypad is always activated from the start.
