Quick overview:
Since yesterday, the first Beta version of Windows 7 can be downloaded. Windows 7 is based on Vista, but brings numerous new features (e.g. full-screen preview window).
The beta version is exclusively the Ultimate Edition, which can be downloaded in either 32- or 64-bit. The size of the downloads is 2.5 GB (32-bit) and 3.2 GB (64-bit). If you want to try out the beta version of Windows 7, you should hurry! The download is only available until January 24th.
