Doesn't it go much better with Windows Aero than the black transition that usually serves as the sidebar background? You can also make your Windows Vista sidebar much more appealing with the following small tools:
- Open the page http://www.stoyanoff.info/blog/code/styler and download the "Sidebar Styler" here.
- Immediately after installation, you have the option of exchanging various graphics in the Styler itself. Here, of course, you can give free rein to your creativity and graphic art.
- However, it's much easier with ready-made styles. I think the following styles, which you can download, are particularly "cool":
