Quick overview:
Now it's getting exciting: the 2008 version of the popular tuning tool will be on the market in around 4 weeks' time. The successful tool has been expanded to include a new hard disk defragmentation, numerous new options and a brand new user interface. [By Sandro Villinger]
It will soon be even easier for PC users to get the most out of their Windows operating system. "The 2008 version of TuneUp Utilities contains many new functions compared to its predecessor and is at the same time even more user-friendly and intuitive", say Christoph Laumann and Tibor Schiemann, the two founders of TuneUp. "We have grouped the individual functions in such a way that users can proceed in a task-oriented manner. For example, they can find all the tools that help them increase the performance of their PC or free up more storage space in their own sections."
One of the highlights of the new version is the powerful hard disk defragmenter: The loading times of Windows, programs and games are noticeably reduced by intelligently sorting the data blocks on the hard disk. Further details on the new version of the industry pioneer can be found in the TuneUp product launch announcement.
We will of course keep you up to date and show you more of TuneUp Utilities 2008 in the coming weeks!
