Quick overview:
The intuitive features of the new Windows 10 operating system make many things easier—provided you're willing to give it a try and have figured it out. As you can already see in the preview version, which has been available since Friday, there are numerous new features and improvements.
The changes
One of the most important changes is that Cortana, the voice assistant, now speaks German as well. The developers have also revamped the Start menu. It’s more open and transparent. We’ve also found another new feature—and simplification—in the network connections. When you click the Wi-Fi icon, a small window opens where you can quickly and easily log in to an available wireless network.
You can find a detailed report on all the changes that have been made here.
One thing stands out, though: Just like in its predecessor, Windows 8, the familiar Desktop button is missing from the taskbar. You’ll look for it in vain.
But so you don’t have to do without it—after all, there are so many new features to discover—you can create your own button. You can learn how to do this in the helpful video from WindowsPower.de.
And here is the command to be used for copying:
[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop
