Quick overview:
Microsoft's latest online prank has been freely available for some time now and can be downloaded for every operating system from the Windows download pages. Unfortunately, you can only download one version of IE, namely the version of Windows you are currently using. This is particularly annoying for users of dual-boot systems who use several Windows versions in parallel, as they have to download a separate IE package for each system.
But with a little trick it is possible to download a bundle that contains all Internet Explorer 6.0 versions. And this is how you proceed:
Internet Explorer - All variants available for download
1. Click here to open the Microsoft Internet Explorer product page. Click here on Download to find out about Download (in the language selection) to download the Internet Explorer setup file. Save the small file in a meaningful directory such as C:\IE6\ and confirm.
2. Now click on Start/Execute and enter in the command line "C:\IE6\ie6setup.exe" /c: "ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E" (With the quotation marks).
3. The conventional installation wizard starts immediately after this entry, but the following surprising scenario appears as soon as you leave the first confirmation behind you:
You can now opt for all versions so that you have a single IE setup folder which then works with all Windows operating systems.
