Quick overview:
The task manager makes it easy to start or end programs, even if the administrator has blocked access to them. It can also be used to delete programs, as the task manager has access to Explorer. To block the program for other users, you must do the following:
1. Click on Start > Run and type regedit in the command line. After a short time, you will be in the Registration editor.
2. Now double-click the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System and right-click in the right-hand pane.
3. From the menu that appears, select New > DWORD value. You only need to give this newly created value the name DisableTaskMgr, double-click on it and enter a 1. If you delete the value or enter 0, the change will be undone.
Important: If the System key does not exist, right-click on Policies and create it.
After a restart, the task manager remains locked!
