Quick overview:
All those who constantly use the Microsoft Outlook program, which is included in the new Office XP program package, to constantly receive new e-mails will certainly find it annoying to have the application constantly in the taskbar. In any case, an elegant solution would be to place a discreet Outlook icon in the quick launch bar next to the clock.
To achieve this, proceed as follows:
You can design the quick launch bar according to your own wishes
1. You must edit the Windows registry. To do this, click on the Start menu and select Run. In the command line, enter regedit followed by a click on OK.
2. Double-click through the keys HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences. Now right-click in the right half of the window. A menu appears in which you first select New and then DWORD value. This creates a new value, which you immediately name MinToTray.
3. Double-click on your self-created value and enter a 1.
4. Click OK to save the changes and restart your computer. The elegant and simple solution takes effect immediately!
