All those who constantly use the Microsoft Outlook program, which is included in the new Office XP program package, to constantly receive new e-mails will certainly find it annoying to have the application constantly in the taskbar. An elegant solution would be to place a discreet Outlook icon in the quick launch bar next to the clock.

1. You must use the Windows registry edit. To do this, click on the start menu and select Execute. In the command line, enter regedit followed by a click on OK in.
2. Double-click to navigate through the keys HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences. Now click in the right half of the window with the right mouse button. A menu appears in which you can first New and afterwards DWORD value select. This creates a new value, which you can immediately MinToTray name.
3. Double-click on your self-created value and enter a 1 in.
4. Click on OK to save the changes and restart your computer. The elegant and simple solution comes into effect immediately!
