The well-known Windows Explorer guarantees the simplest file and folder management with a wide range of options. Each time you start it, it displays a specific location, such as My Documents. However, you can also instruct Windows to jump to any point when starting Internet Explorer:

1. Right-click on the Explorer shortcut. A new window appears with several setting options. Under Target you will find the entry C:\Windows\explorer.exe.
2. Change this line to C:\Windows\explorer.exe /e,C:\Program Files to start the Explorer in the Programs folder in future. You can specify any folder on your hard disk here.
