And this is how you proceed:
1. Click on Start > Settings > Control Panel and select Software in turn.
2. A list appears in which you locate Internet Explorer and double-click on it.
3. In the next selection dialog, select Advanced. Here, select Delete the backup information for Internet Explorer and confirm with OK.
4. Confirm the message that appears after you have clicked OK with Yes. After this, you can no longer delete or repair Internet Explorer.
