Quick overview:
According to the HTTP rules, Internet Explorer can only access one server. However, if you have several browser windows open, this setting proves to be a bottleneck. To give IE a small performance boost, you must proceed as follows:
1. Click on "Start" > "Execute" and type "regedit" followed by Enter in the command line.
2. The tool "regedit" is revealed. Now double-click through the following keys "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings". In the right-hand pane, right-click on a free area and select "New" > "DWORD value".
3. They call their self-made value "MaxConnectionsPerServer". Now double-click on it, select the setting "Decimal" and enter in the line "8" in.
4. As described above, create another DWORD value in the same key called "MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server". Here too, double-click on it, select "Decimal" and again carry a "8" inside.
After a Windows restart, the connection to a server runs separately when several windows are open, resulting in a noticeable increase in performance.
