Quick overview:
All those who constantly use the Microsoft Outlook program, which is included in the new Office XP program package, to constantly receive new e-mails will certainly find it annoying to have the application constantly in the taskbar. An elegant solution would be to place a discreet Outlook icon in the quick launch bar next to the clock. To realize this, proceed as follows:
1. You must use the Windows registry edit. To do this, click on the start menu and select Execute. In the command line, enter regedit followed by a click on OK in.
2. Double-click to navigate through the keys HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences. Now click in the right half of the window with the right mouse button. A menu appears in which you can first New and afterwards DWORD value select. This creates a new value, which you can immediately MinToTray name.
3. Double-click on your self-created value and enter a 1 in.
4. Click on OK to save the changes and restart your computer. The elegant and simple solution comes into effect immediately!
