Quick overview:
Even the highly praised stability of Windows 2000 can sometimes falter. This can have causes such as old drivers, defective memory or an incompatible program. If such a problem occurs, a blue screen (called Blue Screen of Death) appears, which describes in detail why the system is cracked. Your only option is to reset the system or even press the power button. If you have a server running, this could be a big problem. If you want your PC to restart without you having to do anything in the event of such a crash, follow these steps:
1. Click on Start > Settings > System control. In the window that now appears, click on System > Extended and select under Starting and restoring the option Settings to.
2. A new window appears in which you can click on Restart automatically so that a check mark appears in front of it.
After a restart, Windows will obey your every word and reset the computer immediately if an error is detected.
