Founded Windows Tweaks as a teenager in the 90s. His helpful PC tricks made it Germany's most visited Windows site (at the time Sandro looked like this). He then went on to write elsewhere, for example for PC-Praxis, Computer Bild and PCWorld in the USA. Microsoft also poached him from us. Now Sandro is back, finally sharing his tweaks here again. New Windows Guides
Hello folks!
You've just got used to a program and are working very well with it when yet another new program comes out. It would be much better to finally bring out a main program that is like the one from Apple. With their main program, you don't need antivirus protection etc. either. So Microsoft programmers do something.
Hmm, this was not about virus protection, but to say that you should also install an antivirus program under Apple's system, there are tons of viruses for this operating system too.
Oh yes, Apple is also upgrading the system from 10.5 to 10.6 and now 10.7. is also changed each time in the operation. 😉
You even have to buy it because most newer programs only work with the new operating system after a change.
Sometimes you even have to buy the whole mac again because older macs no longer work with the newer system. 😉
This is mainly about Windows 8, isn't it?
Well, Windows 7 is probably the best Windows there is at the moment.
However, there are many people who still use Windows XP, you shouldn't remove an operating system that is running well. In this case, however, you should make an exception.

Anyone who needs help with the changeover is well helped there.
If you want to install it on your netbook first, there are also instructions there.
It helped me too.
Apple's operating systems are exactly what make up a system.
Lightweight. Stable. Safe. and beautiful...(L)
Well, back to Microsoft.
So XP is stable and good but...ugly.
Vista is resource consuming but so beautiful. I love this design.
Windows 7 perfect for gamers as Direct x 11 is supported.
But after a while it got boring and dull. this fat superbar could have been done better otherwise
I use Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate and XP as my gaming system ^^
ciao...
Hi Nico,
You could also remodel Windows 7 to the Windows Vista design - so you would have the look of the predecessor and the functions of the newer operating system.
Maybe this will help you: http://fediafedia.deviantart.com/art/Vista-VS-for-Windows-7-beta-3-133369018?q=boost:popular+in:customization/skins/windows7+Vista&qo=0
Greetings, Sandro
To be honest, it annoys me that every Windows version has weaknesses. Either you don't have the option of using all the computer's resources or the system needs so many resources that the computer doesn't even support it.
In any case, one thing is true: Windows is and will remain the number 1 through Microsoft's distribution channel.
It is undeniable that Apple is a nice alternative, but Windows includes all common formats, programs and also offers the best support. The range of programs that can be obtained from Microsoft alone makes anti-virus, firewall and other security programs unnecessary. Microsoft offers anti-virus systems, pop-up blockers and various other things free of charge.
Some of them are even more secure than the anti-viruses, 0190 blockers and co. from other manufacturers/providers and have no "cost accounts" that have to be purchased first. Everyone who uses Windows Security Essential gets the same perfect protection against viruses, worms and Trojans.
Unfortunately, my problem is that my CPU reaches a load of 100% due to my music program. This is related to the "Explorer.exe" process and I just can't get the file behind it to go away.
Microsoft should finally complete the work that has been started. Unfortunately, Windows developers have not yet succeeded in making the program so friendly that every old, new or future version runs flawlessly, because the main focus of Windows developers (especially with updates) is to improve the Windows core without taking existing programs into consideration. Since the update (language packages) I have had extreme problems. These updates are optional, but due to my worldwide cooperation with various musicians and producers, I occasionally need a language selection when visiting from abroad so that I don't have to translate every option.
To this day, there is NO operating system that does not have a problem.
The advantage with Apple is that everything runs perfectly with the pre-installed version on a new Apple, but the big disadvantage is that it is not really possible to integrate / install Windows programs perfectly.
The advantage of Windows is that everything runs really well with the pre-installed version, but as soon as you update the service pack, the first problems occur. And not just from time to time, but always with at least 60% of Windows users.
The Windows developer too often thinks that every user needs the "IT tools" and unfortunately you realize that. As a Windows "user", I have never needed IT tools, but I get so many IT tools with Internet Explorer 9, for example, that IE 9 runs unstably.
They could have left a lot of functions out. I mean, I use Windows 7 Ultimate because it's supposed to be the most stable system, but I keep coming up against problems and a lack of understanding for such IT tools, which are more likely to cause me problems than provide a real solution.
Ultimately, I remain loyal to Windows, because Apple, as Marc Seen mentioned, instead of offering a free upgrade of the old version, simply offers a new "system" that has to be purchased. Windows, on the other hand, supports the Windows version as best it can until it dies out.
I have been told that Windows 98.2 SE is supposed to be the most stable version, however, as mentioned by Nico S., there is no Direct X 11 or other resources (e.g. large hard disk or DDR3 RAM with more than 2048MB) running on the system.
Can't an operating system manufacturer finally emerge that supports all formats + the option that the core is not changed, but updates are based on it and support it?
Perhaps many program manufacturers make it too easy for themselves by programming things that make use of operating system resources, which unfortunately change over time.
I don't know what to think of all these operating systems anymore, but I need one to run my music production not only with an MPC and to use other functions.
Yours sincerely
Ghiko
