Quick overview:
Für all die Leute, die ihren Desktop leerräumen möchten und komplett mit dem Startmenü arbeiten wollen habe ich einen pfiffigen Trick, mit dem sie den Papierkorb kinderleicht ins Startmenü verfrachten und ihn von dort aus genausogut verwalten können.
Und so gehen sie vor:
Personalize the start menu under Win 98
1. Gehen sie über den Arbeitsplatz zum Ordner C:\WINDOWS\STARTMENÜ.
2. Right-click on a free area in this folder and select New > Folder. Windows will now prompt you to enter a name. Select the following line and press CTRL+C:

Klicken sie nun mit der rechten Maustaste auf ihren neu erstellten Ordner und wählen sie Umbenennen. Drücken sie nun STRG+V damit der Text Neuer Ordner durch die oben genannte Zeile ersetzt wird. 
Sobald sie ENTER gedrückt haben verwandelt sich der ellenlange Befehl in den Namen Papierkorb mitsamt passendem Symbol. 
3. Take a look at the Start menu. You will notice that the recycle bin is now located there, the contents of which you can expand as a separate menu and delete using the right mouse button.
Want more practical new entries in the Start menu? You need to do the same as above and just replace the complicated line.
Printer menu = Printer.{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}
Dial-up network = Dial-up network.{992CFFA0-F557-101A-88EC-00DD010CCC48}
