Quick overview:
The new Millennium Edition of Windows shines above all with its new system restore feature, which allows the entire operating system to be backed up and restored in the event of errors. Unfortunately, this feature also takes up a lot of hard disk capacity and also reduces the speed somewhat, which is why performance purists who are not afraid of a crash or use a more professional program should put an end to this system restore. And this is how you proceed one after the other:
1. Click with the right mouse button on Workplace and select Properties.
2. Now switch to the tab Performance features and click here on File system. From here you hike directly to Troubleshooting.
3. Now place a tick in front of Deactivate system restorewhich you will find at the bottom.
