Quick overview:
If you access a page with several windows, you will notice that Internet Explorer accesses the individual pages more slowly. The reason for this is the connection restriction to a server: Internet Exlorer is only allowed to hang on the server with a maximum of 2 connections. To increase this number (which is sufficient), proceed as follows:
1. Click on Start/Execute and type in the command line regedit on. The Windows Registry Editor.
2. Navigate through the keys one after the other HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings and right-click in the right-hand pane. Now select New/DWORD Value.
3. You now name this value MaxConnectionsPerServer and double-click on it. Now, after you have entered Decimal have marked a 8 inside.
4. After confirmation with OK As described above, create another DWORD value, which this time you enter as MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server name.
5. Here too, double-click on it and select Decimal before you enter the number 8 type in.
After a restart, you will notice a significant increase in performance with several connections.
