Using NT backup under Vista

If you are still using backups that were created with NT-Backup, you will find that this program no longer exists under Vista. We will show you how you can still use your backups.

Although the program itself is no longer integrated into Windows Vista, you can still use NT-Backup. Microsoft has published a stand-alone version of the program in its download center.

To download the software, go to the Microsoft Downloadcenter and enter the search term "Windows NT Backup - Restore Utility" in. The download link for NT-Backup is now displayed as a search result.

Now download the program, install it and you can use the backups again!
