Quick overview:
Half tablet, half notebook - and equipped with an innovative stand: That's the new Point of View WinTab-11C006. Find out the most important features here.
Hybrid of tablet and notebook
The WinTab-11C006 from manufacturer Point of View is a 1.3 cm thin tablet PC that runs Windows 10 and is equipped with an 11.6-inch IPS display. It has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Thanks to the detachable keyboard, the hybrid device can be used both as a pure tablet and as a fully functional notebook. Its practical stand design, which seems to be latently based on Lenovo tablets, is particularly original. The general look is more reminiscent of Microsoft's Surface devices. The fully-fledged hardware keyboard weighs just 400g and has an integrated trackpad and speakers that radiate towards the hybrid user.
Processor from Intel
Hidden inside the WinTab-11C006 is a processor that is as powerful as it is energy-efficient: it is the Atom X5-Z8300 quad-core SoC CPU from Intel. It has a total of four x86 kernels, whose base clock speed is boosted from 1.44 gigahertz to 1.84 gigahertz when performance is required. In terms of internal memory, the WinTab-11C006 comes with two gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of flash memory. If more storage space is required, a slot for MicroSD cards is available. This makes it easy to expand the storage capacity of the WinTab-11C006 individually.
On board: cameras, N-WLAN and Bluetooth
Other features of the tablet/notebook hybrid include a 5 MP camera on the back and a 2 MP webcam for web conferences and the like on the front. The device connects via N-WLAN and Bluetooth 4.0. There are two USB 2.0 ports, a mini-HDMI output and a combined audio port. In terms of weight, the WinTab-11C006 weighs in at 870g, which is probably not least due to the 9200mAh battery, which is voluminously concealed in the housing. The retail price is around 330 euros.
