Quick overview:
Do you regularly receive the message that Sysfader.exe has caused a problem and needs to be closed? Does this cause Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer to crash? As is so often the case with computer problems, you can't always just point the finger at one factor and say: "It's YOUR fault!" The problem can have various causes, which we will explore together below:
"Sysfader.exe" is responsible for the various fade-in and fade-out effects in Windows Vista. I therefore recommend that you first of all keep the graphics card driver up to date! This is because it is responsible for the entire display of the Windows Vista interface and can cause problems with the effects in older or faulty versions. Please visit www.nvidia.de and download the latest driver to your computer!
You can also easily switch off the fade-in and fade-out effect if no solution works for you! To do this, first click with the right mouse button on "Computer" and select "Properties".
Select here
and click on "Settings" in the "Performance". Remove the checkmark from the following options:
- "Animation when minimizing and maximizing windows"
- "Show or hide menus in view"
- "Hide menu items after calling them up"
- "Show or hide tooltip in view"
If this does not help either, it is highly likely that a Trojan, virus or spyware is to blame for the problem. First of all, start "Windows Defender" and perform a complete scan of your entire hard disk. I can also recommend the following software for removing security risks:
- "AdAware 6"

It should work!
