Quick overview:
Before you start installing a graphics card, sound card or TV card, you need to optimize your system to a good basis. This includes the latest DirectX drivers, which are the optimal gaming interface, as well as the chipset drivers for your Athlon/Intel computer. If you have such a PC, these drivers will make your system faster and more stable.
1. Since you now have an Internet connection thanks to the last tricks, you can go directly to the pages for these drivers. Click on the following link for DirectX 9.0c DirectX 9.0c
2. The file download will start, which may take some time depending on your connection. Once this is complete, you can double-click on the file, which is now located in the previously selected folder.
3. Confirm the next message with Yes and the one that appears with Yes. Once the process is complete, you must restart your computer. The basic games and application interfaces are now installed. These include graphics, sound, network, Internet and input devices - almost every new game or multimedia application insists on them. It is highly recommended to install DirectX 9.0 before the other drivers, as these often require DirectX.
We will now look at the installation of the chipset drivers. You will need these if your motherboard comes from the manufacturer Via or Intel. To install them, proceed as follows:
1. for Via: Click on this link http://www.viaarena.com and download the Via4in1/Hyperion drivers. The download will be finished quickly.
2. Now go to the location on your hard disk where the file is located and double-click on it. The installation program will then start. You will now be asked several times for settings, but always confirm them with Next without changing them, as the default settings are the correct ones.
1. with Intel: Visit www.intel.com and select your chipset under Chipset. After the download, proceed as in step 2 for the via drivers; after a restart, you will also have installed these drivers and can access the Installing your graphics card.
